The first iPod touch was released on September 5, 2007. It could hold 8, 16, or 32 GB depending on which one you buy, and its connection was Firerwire (limited)/ USB. It was discontinued on September 9, 2008. It could hold up to 1,750, 3,500, or 7,000 songs depending on how many GB it had. It could also hold 10,000, 20,000, or 25,000 pictures depending on how many GB it had. It comes with preset applications such as music, videos, photos, iTunes, safari, YouTube, and mail. It was compatible with Mac and Windows, and its battery life lasted about 22 hours, but if you were to watch a video it would last 5 hours.
